The TOKAI Group was founded in 1950 and celebrated its 75th anniversary in December 2025. During this time, starting with its city gas business, the company has expanded into a wide range of services related to daily life and society, including energy, information and communication, CATV, construction, equipment and real estate, and Aqua (bottled water delivery).
There are three main factors behind our diversification of business. First, a strong sense of mission to respond to the diverse demands of society and the needs and problems of our customers. Second, a "challenging spirit" to boldly take on new businesses. Third, the tireless efforts and achievements of our predecessors and employees.
As a corporate group that comprehensively supports people's lives and society, our group bears a crucial mission in building a sustainable future. While cherishing and inheriting the corporate culture we have cultivated so far, we will contribute to the realization of a sustainable society and aim for sustainable growth while improving corporate value.

A smile is the most powerful communication tool that creates a positive cycle when interacting with customers, local residents, and colleagues in our daily work. Furthermore, a smile is indispensable for promoting sustainable management. We will realize our corporate message, "We face challenges with open minds to bring more smiles to life and joy in society," and create a brighter future for our communities and society.
Strengthening climate change countermeasures, human resource development, and governance
Currently, various social issues are becoming apparent, including global environmental problems such as climate change, human rights and labor issues, digital transformation, and demographic changes. As the world transforms into a sustainable economic and social system, it is essential to respond appropriately to these changes.
In "Climate Change Countermeasures," we are working on energy conservation and decarbonization throughout the entire supply chain. The group aims to reduce its GHG emissions by 50% by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. To contribute to reductions throughout the supply chain, we will further promote the expansion of sales of energy-saving equipment and solar power generation, and the creation and utilization of carbon credits.
"Human capital" are the foundation of the company and are indispensable for sustainable growth. We invest in human resources as capital and maximize employee performance. By achieving increased profits throughout the group and reinvesting those profits back into human capital, we create a virtuous cycle in which both employees and the group grow together.
"Governance" and "compliance" are also essential elements that support the reliability of management. We will continue to strengthen them to realize sound and highly transparent management.
