TOKAI GAS CORPORATION acquired "Eco-Action 21"-a certification and registration system designed by the Ministry of Environment in February 2012-and has actively been participating in environmental conservation activities. One such program, the "Ishizuhama Windbreak Forest Conservation Activity," utilizes the "Shizuoka Forests of the Future Supporter" system facilitated by Shizuoka Prefecture and consists of cleaning the Tajirihama Beach in Yaizu City every year. The Company also places great significance on the fact that the pledge to "cherish our earth and not leave negative legacies for future generations" and "prevent litter" further strengthens the ties between its employees and clients. The Company seeks to continue participating in various beautification activities.
